You have returned only to vanish once more. It saddens me to witness this, but what's sadder is that I saw this from months ago, but did not respond sooner. Overdramatic behavior aside, let us celebrate your return by looking at the first song you published here vs the latest song you published recently.

The Invasion: This is a pretty good dubstep song, although admittedly upon first hearing it, it sounds like every other dubstep song in the sense it felt like there was nothing there that made it unique to differentiate itself. Then again, this is your first song, so something like this is to be expected at the very least.

The build up to the song's beginning was awesome, with the scaling getting higher and louder until we reached the first "beat drop" of the song (which is essentially the start). The second drop also has a nice build up to it, with the sudden silence at the halfway point, and then a quick fade-in to the more intense and louder synths. The second half of the song is more memorable than the first half, due to the second beat drop evolving into a more "retro video game" inspired song, which combined with the dubstep genre, makes this unique combination here very heavenly. The reason I say it sounds inspired by a retro video game is due to the fact that the retro synths in the second half of the song sounds like something that would have originated in an old arcade game, and since one of the oldest and most notorious arcade games includes Galaga, it makes sense why you would title the song "The Invasion". I could see this song fitting in numerous scenarios: A chase in a cyberpunk city, an alien invasion (which is no surprise), and a fight at a club/rave party. One primary thing I can see this fitting into though is a game called "Just Shapes and Beats", since the overall game's music is something similar to this, and the fact the game's premise has you stopping a red monster's invasion on the world.

Overall, a pretty awesome first song with the second half of it being its strong point, 8/10.

Starship 23: Compared to "The Invasion", the improvement shown here is clearly shown due to this particular track feeling more cinematic. The song throughout its entirety really excels on feeling space-themed, all while sounding eerily ominous. I like the way how it starts simple and quiet at the beginning, then over time gradually introduces more instruments and synths until the climax at the fourth quarter of the song is reached. This song for some reason feels like it could be fitted into a story: A person travels into the deep recesses of space, and eventually they discover something, over time realizing that it was a mistake, and eventually being backed up into a situation where there is no going back. The only thing that makes me think of this story is how sorrowful in a way the song gets as it progresses, especially toward the end. The climax of the song retains the original elements of it masterfully, while also shifting the tone of the song from ominous to "You have messed up gravely, and you will be heavily punished for it".

I must admit this genre of music doesn't really click with me, but other than that I can not think of any complaints for this one. There was a ton of effort put into this song and it shows, with a great structure, transitions to new parts of the song, and having a really great tone applied to it, 9/10.

Thank you for posting your music to this site, we wish to see you more often and post more. We know sometimes it could feel like a thankless job, but understand that someone out there has witnessed your work of art before, and is happy with what you have made. Whatever you do from here forward, I hope you succeed.

Holy sh!t, you have no idea how much this message means to me. I treat my music like artistic storytelling as best I can, and it makes me more than happy to know I’ve done that and made a good impact with it. Thank you for your kind words
